Bee'ah, the Middle East's and award-winning integrated environmental and waste management company has reclaimed its stature in the waste management industry and won the Best Waste Management Company of the Year award at the Frost & Sullivan Middle East Environment Excellence Awards ceremony.
Frost & Sullivan, a global Growth Consulting Company, recognised Bee'ah as the best end-to-end waste management solution providers in the GCC market, with strong emphasis on segregation, recycling and lessening the quantum of waste going into landfills.
Through adopting innovative waste management projects including collection and storage, recycling, city beautification, education and outreach, landfill reengineering and policy development, Bee'ah aims to enhance the environment and achieve added-value commercial ventures, while upholding its commitments to stakeholders, in order to attain its goal of zero-waste to landfill by 2015 for the Emirate of Sharjah.
Bee'ah was also the first company to launch the Residential Recycling programme in the Middle East with newly installed dual-coloured bins, to encourage residents of Sharjah to separate their waste, as well as the first waste management company to launch the Reverse Vending Machine, which goes hand-in-hand with the myBee'ah loyalty programme, a scheme which rewards loyal members for their positive environmental deeds.
